About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant in an inspirational SEN School in Alnwick.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with varying levels of need, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and PMLD, on a 1:1 and group basis.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs or a related field is preferred.
- You should have experience working with children in schools in the UK and be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the school.
- Hold a valid Right to Work in the UK and an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service.
