About the Role

We are seeking a Part-time Support Worker to join our team in Alnwick. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a young person, providing support and care in their daily life.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting a 5-year-old boy with his education provision, helping him to access activities he enjoys, and developing his communication skills.

This role requires patience, kindness, and reliability, as well as experience working with children with Learning Disabilities and Global Developmental Delay. You must be able to interact and engage with a non-communicative child, making a positive impact on their life.

Working Hours

This is a part-time role, requiring 8 hours per week during school hours (between 9am and 3pm) term-time only.

Salary

The salary for this role is £32,000 per annum, or £16.41 per hour.
