Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join Leader Recruitment Group at a SEND school. The successful candidate will work with children, providing individualized support for both primary and secondary students.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30 until 15:30. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)
  • Monitor and manage students' behavior and wellbeing
  • Support the development of social and emotional skills
  • Assist with personal care if needed
  • Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet students' needs
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
  • Relevant teaching experience and qualifications

Salary:
