At Prospero Teaching, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Specialist to join our team at an excellent Primary School in Alnwick. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide support to pupils with challenging behavior and SEN, both one-on-one and in small groups. Key responsibilities include managing challenging behavior in a proactive and consistent manner, supervising pupils during breaks, and engaging actively with students to encourage their learning.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Requirements
  • An Enhanced DBS check (ideally on the Update Service)
  • A strong ability to build relationships and rapport with pupils and staff
  • High levels of enthusiasm, energy, and positivity when working with students
