Caring Assistant with Leonard Cheshire

We are looking for an experienced Care Assistant to join our fantastic team at Leonard Cheshire. As a Support Worker, you will be working closely with our customers to provide them with the care and support they need to live independently.

The salary for this role is £24,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we also offer excellent training and induction programmes, as well as opportunities for career progression and professional development.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes. You will also escort and assist our customers in and around the service, as well as accompanying them to external events and appointments.
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, patient, and able to build strong relationships with our customers. You will need to be flexible and able to work varied shifts, including early morning and late evening shifts.
Maintaining accurate records is also an important part of this role. You will need to be organised and able to keep track of customer information and update records accordingly.
