Job Type: Full time, 35 hours per week.

Salary: £28,488 (rising to £31,335 once service registration is achieved), including a 10% uplift for holding the service registration.

About Us: Brirnbeck re-enablement service (Bennet Court) is a supported living unit featuring twelve self-contained residential apartments for vulnerable young adults. Our mission is to provide high-quality care and support, making a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities.

Your Role: As a Registered Manager with Leonard Cheshire, you will lead our team of dedicated staff, providing clear direction, management, and supervision. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the service, promoting positive outcomes for our residents, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory obligations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, develop, and performance manage staff to ensure the achievement of national minimum care standards.
  • Hold service registration and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the financial stability of the service, operating within sound business principles.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote best practice in care delivery.

You Will Succeed in This Role If:

  • You have a recognised nursing or social care qualification and registration (as appropriate to the needs of the service).
  • You hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or equivalent as required for registration.
  • You possess substantial experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity in a care environment.
