Job Title: Registered Home Manager

About the Role

The Registered Home Manager will provide clear direction, management and supervision of a great staff team at Brirnbeck re-enablement service (Bennet Court). This is a supported living unit featuring twelve self-contained residential apartments for vulnerable young adults.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership with passion and enthusiasm to ensure the service is well run and will promote positive outcomes for disabled people with a flexible and proactive approach.
  • Ensure the service is fully compliant regarding health and safety management and fulfil statutory obligations, operating a financially sound service.
  • Handle recruitment, on-going training, development and performance needs of staff, ensuring the achievement of national minimum care standard requirements.

Requirements

  • A recognised nursing or social care qualification and registration (as appropriate to the needs of the service).
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or equivalent as required for registration.
  • Substantial experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity in a care environment.
