Learning and Development Specialist

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Educator to deliver high-quality Functional Skills courses in English and Maths as part of an Apprenticeship Standard for SaluteMyJob.
- Assess, invigilate, and mark assignments to ensure students receive constructive feedback that supports their growth and development.
- Provide timely written and verbal feedback to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Deliver remedial training and revision sessions as required, adapting teaching inputs to meet the changing needs of students.
- Develop and prepare engaging lesson plans, learning resources, and trainee supporting materials to improve the learning experience.
This is a full-time position requiring 37 hours per week, with flexible hybrid working arrangements.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication abilities.
- A proven track record in delivering training, with a focus on work-based learning programmes.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications to create engaging learning materials.
In order to succeed in this role, you will need:
- Functional Skills Level 2 in English.
- Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths.
Estimated Salary: £27,500 - £32,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
