Job Description

At Turning Point, we are looking for a Learning Disabilities Care Specialist to support our residents in Avondale and Hollygrove. The successful candidate will have a strong sense of humor, excellent communication skills, and a responsible and flexible attitude.

Main Duties:

  • Promote the independence of the people we support by developing their life skills and personal interests.
  • Support a variety of daily activities, including cleaning, cooking, outings, and holidays.
  • Arrange activities both at home and in the local community.
  • Assist with personal care needs and manual handling.
  • Support individuals with their medication.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, 29 days' paid holiday a year, increasing with each year of service up to 31 days, plus the option to buy additional holidays and spread the cost. Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum
