Our shops are a vital part of our organisation, helping to save over 300 tonnes of goods from landfill every year.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this role is £28,400 - £32,230, depending on experience.

About the Role: As a Retail Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient running of our Streatham Hill charity shop. You will motivate and lead our team, drive sales performance, and provide excellent customer and donor service. You will manage the stockroom and shop floor, merchandise, and create impactful visual displays. Additionally, you will engage with hospice and retail campaigns and act as an ambassador to promote our work.

Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of the role include:

  1. Motivating and leading the shop team to achieve sales targets and excellent customer service standards.
  2. Managing the shop floor, stockroom, and merchandise to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  3. Engaging with hospice and retail campaigns to promote Royal Trinity Hospice's work.
  4. Acting as an ambassador for the charity, promoting our values and mission.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Retail experience, either in the commercial or charity sectors.
  • Experience of dealing with the public face-to-face and over the telephone.
  • Knowledge of the charity retail sector.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Leadership and motivational skills.
