The White Company Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Store Team Lead to join our team in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail professional to take on a challenging role that requires exceptional leadership and management skills.

About The Role:

  • We are looking for a strong leader who can motivate and manage a team of delivery and stockroom staff to achieve personal store objectives.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching, motivating, and developing the team to ensure exceptional levels of service at all times.
  • They will also be responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are processed and productivity targets are adhered to consistently by the stockroom team.
  • The Operations Store Team Lead will work closely with the Store Management team to plan and manage key events within the stockroom and shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain a high-performance team that supports the day-to-day operational responsibilities.
  2. Ensure that the store operations run efficiently and effectively, with a focus on maintaining the highest level of stock management and standards.
  3. Manage the stockroom and allocate resources to ensure the effective completion of deliveries and other related stock tasks.
  4. Minimise loss through ensuring appropriate storage and due care is taken of all merchandise.
  5. Ensure that all reviews and appraisals are conducted with the stockroom team.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience as a supervisor or team lead in a retail stockroom environment.
  • Experience running a fast-moving stockroom environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Retail or service industry experience.
  • Experience maintaining and utilising statistical information.
