About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Child Safeguarding Specialist to join our dynamic team in Surrey MASH. As a key member of our Senior Practitioners, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding children and families by conducting thorough assessments and making informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with partner agencies to gather and share information to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to determine risk levels and appropriate interventions.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and case progress in compliance with data protection policies.
  • Support the development of policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance the effectiveness of the MASH team.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of Senior Practitioners and Triage Officers to enhance service delivery within the MASH.

About You:

  • A recognized social work qualification and registration with relevant professional body.
  • Extensive experience in children's services, particularly in safeguarding and child protection.
  • Sound knowledge of legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with colleagues, agencies, and families.

What We Offer:

As a Child Safeguarding Specialist at CV-Library, you can expect an annual salary of £45,000 - £60,000, depending on experience.
