Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Childcare Specialist to join our team at Bright Horizons Teddies Woking Day Nursery. As an Early Years Apprentice, you will play a vital role in providing world-class care and education to children aged 0-5 years.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of a nursery team, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for our young learners. Key responsibilities include interacting with children through play, activities, reading, and supporting their learning curriculum. Effective communication with parents is also essential, including daily updates on their child's activities.

Requirements:
  • A commitment to completing your Apprenticeship
  • Maths and English qualification GCSE Grade C / Level 4 or above, or Functional Skills Level 2. If not already held, a willingness to complete Functional Skills alongside apprenticeship.
  • Previous experience working with children beneficial, but not essential - Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
  • Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
