New Road Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated professional to serve as a behaviour support companion within a 7.5 hour school day for children in Primary, Secondary, or SEN Schools.

Key responsibilities include assisting young individuals with their academic and personal development, fostering resilience, and providing emotional support when needed.

This role requires exceptional conflict resolution skills, the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenging behaviour.

The ideal candidate will have experience in mentoring, psychology, special educational needs (SEN) support, and youth/community work. A strong understanding of child development, learning strategies, and classroom management techniques is essential.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all applicants to share this commitment. The successful candidate will undergo enhanced DBS checks and register with the Update Service.

Salary Range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
