About the Job:

We are seeking an exceptional Type 2 Diabetes Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with Type 2 diabetes, working in primary care across the country.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimise oral hypoglycaemic therapy and conduct point-of-care testing to improve patient outcomes.
  • Identify sub-optimally controlled patients and refer them for specialist insulin treatment where necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of local and national Diabetes guidelines (NG28).

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience managing diabetes within primary care.
  • IT literacy, including primary care systems.
  • Full driving licence and current NMC registration.

Benefits:

The annual salary for this role is estimated at £45,000, plus a range of benefits including an annual bonus incentive scheme, car allowance, company pension, and private medical insurance.
