Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Officer to join our Central Payments Services team. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payment processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Authorizing high-value invoices and ensuring accurate payment processing.
- Producing and checking reports for potential payment errors and taxation queries related to CIS.
- Resolving invoice queries and working with high levels of accuracy for tasks such as checking documents and recording numerical and alphabetical information.
- Working independently, managing your own workload, and using your initiative to adhere to time scales and deadlines.
- Preparing invoices for manual processing and monthly reconciliation of transactions within the control account.
- Recording payment errors and dealing with the recovery of these payments.
- Dealing with complex queries, both written and verbal.
Requirements:
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including face-to-face, telephone, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple teams and contribute to their development with suggestions for new ways of working.
- Ability to work on your own and use initiative to adhere to time scales and deadlines.
- Knowledge of the applications, systems, and IT programs utilized by the service and being able to accurately record and retrieve information.
- An understanding of the importance of providing excellent customer service and experience of dealing positively with challenging situations.
