About the Role

As a Senior Consultant & Manager - Insurance UK Consulting at Wavestone, you will be a key player in the development of our UK practice, focusing on insurance transformation projects across the value chain. You will leverage technology to drive operational efficiency and competitive advantage.

We are seeking experienced professionals with a proven track record in delivering insurance transformation projects, leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency and competitive advantage. Your expertise will help us navigate the complexities of the insurance sector, and your business development skills will enable you to identify and pursue new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Industry Expertise and Experience: Demonstrate a proven track record in delivering insurance transformation projects, leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
  • Business Development: Participate in the business development activity of the office, identifying new opportunities and contributing to the delivery of engagements.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the insurance sector.
  • People Development – Support the development of the UK team, leading, mentoring, and coaching junior consultants on both client engagements and internally.
  • Internal Development – Contribute to various internal activities, such as career development, thought leadership, recruitment, and more.
Requirements
  • Solid foundations in consulting skills in external client-facing consulting or equivalent role (Insurance transformation, management, or Advisory focused).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of an organisation, experience in managing and leading teams, and developing and coaching junior members of staff based on your profile and background.
  • Proven background supporting strategic transformation programmes and strong acumen enhancing advisory credibility.
  • Skills to create and deliver meaningful presentations with an impact and produce high-quality reports.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of one or more of the following insurance key topics: Core System Transformation, Architecture Design, Business Process Analysis, Systems Migration & Integration, Digital Transformation in Insurance, Data Analytics, and Regulatory Compliance.
