Employment Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Employment Specialist to join our team at Recovery Focus. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with mental health problems and other chronic health conditions to find and maintain employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support and guidance to individuals to help them achieve their employment goals
  • Work with individuals to identify their strengths and areas for development, and create personalized employment plans
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with local employers and other relevant agencies
  • Provide training and support to individuals on skills development, CV preparation, and interview techniques
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of employment support plans and make adjustments as needed

Requirements

  • Good understanding of the IPS model of working and mental health issues
  • Excellent motivational, presentation, and listening skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to travel in the local area and work outside of office hours as required

Location

This role is based in Woking and requires the post holder to be a car driver.

Working Hours

This is a permanent full-time role requiring the post holder to work 37.5 hours per week.
