Employment Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Employment Specialist to join our team at Recovery Focus. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with mental health problems and other chronic health conditions to find and maintain employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide careers advice and guidance to individuals to help them set and achieve their employment goals
  • Offer support and training to individuals to develop their skills and confidence in the workplace
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with local employers, primary care providers, and other relevant agencies
  • Develop and promote the service to ensure its effectiveness and reach
  • Maintain efficient administrative systems to ensure timely referrals, assessments, and reviews

Requirements

  • Good understanding of the IPS model of working and mental health issues
  • Excellent motivational, presentation, and listening skills
  • Ability to travel in the local area and work outside of office hours as required
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

Working Hours
