Role Summary

As a Optical Support Leadership Role at Talent Limited, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Sales and Applications Engineers to provide exceptional technical service to our customers.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in technical sales and/or product support, with a proven track record of delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness. They will also have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide their team to achieve success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Product Support Team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
  • Efficiently schedule team members to provide comprehensive support via phone, email, and chat.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to identify customer needs and improve the overall customer journey.

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related hard science.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in technical sales and/or product support.
  • Proficiency in optical engineering concepts; optics industry experience preferred but not essential.
  • Proven leadership skills to build and manage effective, diverse teams.
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills preferred.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience. The company also offers a range of benefits, including a competitive salary, company pension scheme, private medical and dental insurance, cycle to work scheme, and subsidised gym membership.
