CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a prestigious data centre facility in West London.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong electrical background and proven experience in building maintenance within critical environments. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of essential infrastructure, contributing to the success of our client's operations.

Responsibilities
  • Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks on all client assets, adhering to established procedures and utilizing the PPM system effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records related to health & safety, building compliance, and quality assurance.
  • Oversee sub-contractor activities, ensuring they meet contract requirements and operate safely during repairs or service work on site.
  • Swiftly address plant faults and defects to maintain equipment in optimal working condition at all times.
  • Ensure a sufficient inventory of spare parts is available to facilitate timely maintenance operations.
  • Complete detailed maintenance records using job sheets for accurate documentation.
  • Prepare, review, and implement Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks (PPMs and reactive) to ensure safe working practices.
  • Lead and manage the shift team effectively, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, providing excellent service and communication.
  • Assign tasks to the shift engineers, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct annual performance appraisals for your shift engineers.
  • Develop and implement training plans to ensure the shift team possesses the necessary skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Possess a recognized electrical qualification, such as City & Guilds Level 3.
  • Hold a valid City & Guilds 17th or 18th Edition certification.
  • Experience with HV/LV systems is desirable.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in building maintenance within operational environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Multi-skilled capabilities, including mechanical and electrical expertise.
  • Knowledge of UPS, generators, power distribution, HVAC, and HV/LV systems.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities.
