Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our critical data centre in Stockley Park.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on all client assets using our Planned Preventative Maintenance System.
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive records are kept pertaining to Health & Safety, Building Compliance, and Quality Assurance.
  • Manage sub-contractors to ensure they meet the requirements of the contract, administer work approvals, and ensure safe operation while repairs or services are carried out on site.
  • Swiftly remediate plant faults and defects to maintain plant in serviceable order at all times.
  • Ensure suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant.
  • Complete comprehensive maintenance records in the form of job sheets.
  • Prepare, review, and utilise Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
  • Manage the shift team and maintain good client relationships.
  • Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate, including the utilisation of shift engineers to ensure tasks are suitably completed.
  • Undertake annual appraisals of shift engineers and ensure they are suitably skilled and trained.
Requirements
  • Electrically qualified with City & Guilds - Level 3 and 17th or 18th Edition.
  • A proven track record in Building Maintenance working.
  • Good Communication Skills.
  • Multi-Skilled - Mechanical / Electrical.
  • Knowledge of UPS / Generators / Power Distribution / HVAC / HV LV etc.
  • Good Leadership & Management skills.
