Job Description


We're seeking an Ecology Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you'll be responsible for leading ecological field surveys, analyzing and interpreting survey results, and producing preliminary ecological appraisals and reports.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Leading ecological field surveys and analyzing results
  • Producing preliminary ecological appraisals and reports
  • Managing projects, including resource allocation and risk management
  • Developing emerging workstreams, such as Biodiversity Net Gain


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you'll need:



  • A degree-level qualification in ecology or a related discipline
  • Hold or be working towards protected species survey licenses
  • Experience of protected species Mitigation Licensing
  • A full understanding of habitat survey and broad knowledge of protected species survey
  • Comfortable writing Ecological Impact Assessment reports
  • Competent GIS skills
  • Experience of managing ecology projects to completion
