Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - North London

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a good Ofsted special educational needs (SEN) school in North London. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work with students of all ages with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic support to students, either one-on-one or in small groups.
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students by being aware of safeguarding policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • The right to work in the UK.
  • A clear and up-to-date DBS.
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
  • A patient and caring attitude with the ability to remain calm when faced with challenging behaviour.
