Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Acton. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs, including ASC.

Job Summary

We are looking for a flexible and team-oriented individual who can work under the guidance of teachers to plan and implement work programmes for pupils with special educational needs. The successful candidate will provide general support to the inclusion team and class teachers, assist in creating a purposeful and supportive learning environment, and promote the inclusion of all pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the guidance of teachers to plan and implement work programmes for pupils with special educational needs.
  • Provide general support to the inclusion team and class teachers in the support of pupils with special educational needs.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly, and supportive learning environment.
  • Promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn, develop, and be successful.
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children within the school.
Requirements

We are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant who has experience of working with children with additional needs. The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to work as part of a team, and committed to improving the outcomes for pupils. They will also be actively engaged in improving their own skills through seeking constructive feedback.

Location

The school is located in Acton, with easy access to public transport. We do not have an onsite car park, so we advise using public transport.
