Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Greenwich

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a well-resourced SEN school in Greenwich. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Severe, Complex and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, and ASD. Your responsibilities will include working with children who have a range of complex needs, including learning, behavioural and physical needs. You will also be required to demonstrate resilience in managing the behaviour of children with complex needs, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to change quickly. In addition, you will need to demonstrate an understanding of and a genuine commitment to Inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with children who have a range of complex needs, including learning, behavioural and physical needs.
  • Demonstrate resilience in managing the behaviour of children with complex needs.
  • Remain calm under pressure and be able to adapt to change quickly.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and a genuine commitment to Inclusion.

Requirements:
  • SEN experience, particularly PMLD & SLD.
  • Graduates with a keen interest in SEN, Teaching and Child-Psychology.
