**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Group Support Volunteer.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people affected by dementia.

As a Group Support Volunteer, you will be responsible for welcoming and supporting people affected by dementia at our monthly Carers Peer Support Group.

You will play a vital role in ensuring that individuals feel comfortable and included, and that they have access to the support and information they need.

The ideal candidate will have good verbal communication and listening skills, enjoy meeting new people, and be aware of or willing to learn about dementia and its impact on people.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Welcoming and supporting people affected by dementia at the Carers Peer Support Group
  • Ensuring individuals feel comfortable and included
  • Providing refreshments and helping with setup and tidy

**Salary:** £11.50 per hour (approximate)

**Location:** Various locations across the UK
