About Emerald Care
We specialize in providing residential care, supported living, and outreach services to individuals with autism and learning difficulties. Our goal is to create a relaxed atmosphere in our homes that promotes individuality, dignity, choice, privacy, and independence.
Our approach focuses on championing the integration of people into the community, utilizing local facilities such as shops, cafes, libraries, public houses, and leisure centers. We also provide transportation for outings or holidays.
About the Role
- Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the individuals we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting their individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices in line with their support plans.
- Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual beliefs of the individuals we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
- Facilitate social, educational, or work activities such as visiting family and friends, walks, shopping, and other recreational activities of their choice.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including shopping, domestic tasks, and elements of personal care.
- Complete a range of records and documents as part of the role.
