About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Board of Trustees as a Chair. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and direction to the charity, ensuring we achieve our mission and vision.
The Chair will be responsible for holding the Chief Executive and Executive Team accountable for delivering our objectives, while also serving as an ambassador for the charity.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with neurological conditions and their families.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in governance, leadership, and communication, with experience of working within the non-profit sector.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the charity
- Holding the Chief Executive and Executive Team accountable for delivering our objectives
- Serve as an ambassador for the charity
The Brain Charity is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee, dedicated to supporting individuals with neurological conditions and their families through the provision of information and advice, emotional support services, and activities.
Based in Liverpool, we operate locally in the Liverpool City Region but have a significant national impact through our online outreach and support services.
