Student Support Specialist Wanted

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced HLTA to join our team in Plymouth. As a student support specialist, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to ensure each student receives the necessary support and resources.

Your key responsibilities will include providing 1:1 student support, delivering educational content to post-16 students, and building strong relationships with students, teachers, and colleagues. You will also need to manage challenging situations and inspire students to achieve their best.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting or teaching students with SEN, particularly at post-16 level.
  • Self-starter with confidence to engage with students on a 1:1 basis.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with students and colleagues.
