We are looking for a highly organized and empathetic individual to fill the role of Healthcare Support Services Coordinator at the NHS. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Primary Care Team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and maintain confidentiality and adhere to practice policies. They will also be proficient in using clinical system software and have previous experience in reception/customer care.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephones promptly and direct patients to appropriate services or healthcare professionals.
  • Action prescription queries and repeat prescription requests within 48 hours.
  • Ensure practice confidentiality, data protection, and security policies are strictly adhered to.
  • Deal with general enquiries, explain procedures, and make appointments.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £12.25 per hour.
  • 27 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
