Part-Time Family Support Specialist

Leaders in Care is committed to delivering strength-based services that recognises the expertise of children, families, and social workers. As a Part-Time Family Support Specialist, you will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic team focused on supporting families during initial referrals to Children and Young People Services.
The role involves assessments and section 47 enquiries, identifying necessary support for families and transferring them to family support teams for longer-term interventions. You will also be responsible for issuing court proceedings when required.
This is an ideal opportunity for adaptable and compassionate social workers who are empathetic, calm, and child-focused. With every day bringing new challenges, you will need to offer stability and understanding to families often in crisis.
We are offering a competitive salary of £45,500 per annum, including a £5,000 annual enhancement for all qualified roles. Our hybrid and flexible working model allows you to balance admin duties at home with on-site visits as needed.
As a member of our intake team, you will have access to family aides, social care officers, and business support. We are committed to career development and offer regular supervision, training opportunities, and progression pathways.
