Vessel Movement Specialist Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Vessel Movement Specialist to join our team on a 2-year project in Suffolk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe movement of plant and vehicles on-site.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective strategies for managing plant and vehicle movements on-site.
  2. Collaborate with site teams to ensure seamless traffic flow and minimize risks.
  3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during loading and unloading operations.
  4. Identify and report potential hazards to site management promptly.
Essential Requirements:
  • Certification in CPCS or NPORS (mandatory).
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, such as Plant and Vehicle Marshal.
  • Detailed knowledge of site safety procedures and operational protocols.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of punctuality, reliability, and commitment to safety.
