Job Overview:

Alexander Steele Recruitment is partnering with a global food business to recruit a Supply Chain Planner. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional to join a leading organisation in the FMCG sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the order cycle of stock replenishment, including forecasting, procurement, scheduling, and shipping. They will also be responsible for maintaining optimum warehouse stockholding for each product.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Commerce or equivalent, and at least 4 years' experience in supply chain planning, preferably within FMCG or Retail. They will also need to have advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the order cycle of stock replenishment, including forecasting, procurement, scheduling, and shipping
  • Maintain optimum warehouse stockholding for each product
  • Provide weekly stock reports for area of responsibility
  • Maintain a rolling order schedule of products from suppliers
  • Maintain a rolling vessel nomination schedule for each shipping location
  • Daily liaison with international suppliers to ensure receipt and timely delivery of orders
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Commerce or equivalent
  • At least 4 years' experience in supply chain planning, preferably within FMCG or Retail
  • Advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
