About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Biggleswade Community Mental Health Team. This is a full-time position, with flexible working arrangements available.

As a Senior Mental Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality social care services to adults experiencing mental ill-health. You will work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, conducting assessments, creating care plans, and coordinating care from a social perspective.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health models, treatment options, and social determinants of mental illness. They will be able to assess and manage complex situations effectively, communicate with service users and carers, and compile accurate case records.

The estimated salary for this position is £35,000-£42,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including comprehensive training opportunities, career progression, and a supportive work environment.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, such as the Mental Health Act 1983 and subsequent amendments.
