Mental Health Specialist

The East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our Biggleswade Community Mental Health Team. As a key member of the team, you will provide high-quality social care services to adults experiencing mental ill-health.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing assessment, care planning, and coordination of care from a social perspective to adults accessing the service. You will hold a caseload of adults experiencing a wide range of mental health and social care needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with acute inpatient units, the Crisis Team, Primary Care services, and the Voluntary and Private Sector to provide a recovery-focused model of care.
- Commission health and social care services as required, working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure seamless care pathways.
You will be committed to ensuring that individuals receive person-centered interventions, promoting their autonomy, dignity, and well-being.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you must have:
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary environment, preferably in community settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, carers, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases effectively.
