About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our Biggleswade Community Mental Health Team. As a member of this team, you will work closely with adults experiencing mental ill-health, providing high-quality social care services and supporting them in their recovery journeys.

Our team is committed to delivering person-centred interventions that meet the unique needs of each individual. We offer a supportive and collaborative environment, with regular reflective practice sessions, bespoke advice, and CPD opportunities available to all staff members.

You will hold a caseload of adults with diverse mental health and social care needs, working closely with other professionals to provide assessment, care planning, and coordination of care from a social perspective. Your role will involve liaison with acute inpatient units, crisis teams, primary care services, and the voluntary sector, as well as commissioning health and social care services as required.

To succeed in this role, you will possess a strong understanding of social care principles, mental health legislation, and treatment options. You should also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage with service users, carers, and other professionals effectively.
