Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Community Social Care Professional to join our team in Biggleswade Community Mental Health Team. As a Community Social Care Professional, you will provide high-quality social care services to adults experiencing mental ill-health, working closely with service users, carers, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

You will conduct assessments, create care plans, and coordinate care from a social perspective, ensuring that service users receive person-centered interventions. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health models, treatment options, and social determinants of mental illness.

The estimated salary for this position is £38,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including comprehensive training opportunities, career progression, and a supportive work environment.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, such as the Mental Capacity Act and the NHS & Community Care Act.
