Reception Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Receptionist to join our team at KaneHR. Based in Portsmouth, this role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic nonprofit organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the reception desk, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support to various departments. This role requires excellent communication skills for interacting with members of the public and colleagues alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage office stationery supplies and maintain the stationery budget
- Keep an up-to-date record of staff contact numbers and vehicle information for the office database
- Order and deactivate staff access passes
- Provide labels for the office magazine
- Organise and scan archive documents held on file
- Manage the postal machine, including dealing with faults and software updates
- Provide administrative support to the office teams
- Oversee all reception duties, including hospitality for staff and visitors
- Act as the first point of contact from the website and communicate with team leads
- Organise and allocate incoming post
Person Specification:
- Previous experience in a reception or similar role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information and multitask
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Able to work independently and provide a welcoming and friendly manner
Salary: £24,800 - £28,800 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 35 hours per week (negotiable)
Location: Office based in Portsmouth
Benefits: Pension scheme; up to 25 days holiday
