Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at KaneHR. Located in Portsmouth, this role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic nonprofit organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the reception desk, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support to various departments. Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with members of the public and colleagues alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain office supplies and stationery budget
- Manage staff contact numbers and vehicle information for the office database
- Order and deactivate staff access passes
- Provide labels for the office magazine
- Organise and scan archive documents
- Manage postal machine and deal with faults
- Provide administrative support to office teams
- Oversee reception duties and hospitality
- Act as first point of contact from website and communicate with team leads
- Organise incoming post and coordinate conference room bookings
Person Specification:
- Previous experience in reception or similar role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information and multitask
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Able to work independently and provide a welcoming manner
Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 35 hours per week (negotiable)
Location: Office based in Portsmouth
Benefits: Pension scheme; up to 25 days holiday
