Clinical Development Lead

Barinthus Biotherapeutics is seeking a highly experienced Clinical Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our clinical operations department, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of clinical studies within assigned programmes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic clinical and study operational insight into clinical development and programme strategy.
- Identify and mitigate study risks, and develop contingencies to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
- Accountable for financial management of assigned clinical studies, ensuring alignment with Barinthus Bio best practice and policy.
- Direct, plan, manage, and drive clinical studies from concept to execution, focusing on time, cost, risk, and quality.
- Support the set-up and attend scientific advisory board meetings to inform clinical development strategy.
- Prepare high-quality documentation for programme reviews and regulatory interactions.
- Undergraduate Science or Nursing Degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 10 years Clinical Development/Operational experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology field.
- Postgraduate qualification an advantage.
- Clinical Study leadership experience reflecting a track record of study and/or programme delivery generating significant value to an organisation.
- Demonstration of a comprehensive understanding of virology, vaccine, or biologic development of oncology products an advantage.
