We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Lead for Speech and Language Therapy to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing professional and clinical leadership for Speech and Language Therapy services across our trust.
About the Role:- Provide clinical and professional leadership for Speech and Language Therapy services
- Develop and implement trust-wide policies and clinical guidelines for Speech and Language Therapy
- Ensure safe and effective Speech and Language Therapy services across sites
- Provide clinical and professional guidance on Speech and Language Therapy issues
- Work closely with Band 7 SLTs and SLT/Dietetic Manager to ensure safe and effective SLT services
Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is a large acute and specialized hospital trust that provides a range of local acute services to the residents of Worcestershire and more specialized services to a larger population in Herefordshire and beyond.
Requirements:- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualifications
- Recognized management/leadership/coaching qualification obtained or pending
- Significant post-graduation experience in the NHS
- Experience of teaching students and healthcare professionals
- Participation in clinical research
- Able to travel to other hospital sites (car driver with access to a vehicle)
