Children's Therapy Service Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our paediatric therapies team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical and managerial oversight to the therapy teams, leading the team through a period of change and transformation, and maintaining best practice and quality for the children and young people accessing our services.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of practicing within their own professional field, a track record of practice/service development, operational management, and leading a team. They will also have experience of working in a community setting, children's-related field, and multidisciplinary/multi-agency approach.

The role will involve working in partnership with the job share partner to provide leadership for the paediatric therapies team, ensuring all Trust initiatives are interpreted and applied to the service, and clinical quality of the offer is maintained through a robust review and audit process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and managerial oversight to the therapy teams
  • Lead the team through a period of change and transformation
  • Maintain best practice and quality for the children and young people accessing our services
  • Support staff and work towards staff wellbeing
  • Maintain policies and procedures for the teams within trust standards
  • Act as an advocate for the service
