SEND Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our SEND Unit as part of our Secondary School team in Bury St Edmunds. The successful candidate will have a passion for education and ideally be looking to complete their teaching qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to students with additional needs, including 1:1 tuition and small group work.
  • Encourage and support individual pupils to reach their full potential.
  • Help to organise teaching and learning resources available to students and staff.

Requirements:
  • Experience of working with students with a variety of SEND needs.
  • Ability to work closely with students, staff, and other professionals to provide a supportive learning environment.
  • Adaptability and a creative approach to supporting students with different needs.
