About the Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Accounting or a related field;
  • Experience in accounting and budgeting, preferably in a local government setting;
  • A solid understanding of the statutory framework for accountancy and accounting principles and techniques;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

We also require a proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with database management systems. A qualification such as AAT or CCAB is highly desirable.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
