About the Role: Steel Project Budget Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Steel Project Budget Coordinator to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the steel industry and excellent financial management skills.

As a Steel Project Budget Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing, monitoring, and managing project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost control mechanisms
  • Conducting cost analysis, project valuations, and feasibility studies for steel structures and related materials
  • Overseeing the procurement process, negotiating contracts, and managing subcontractor relationships
  • Identifying potential financial risks and developing mitigation strategies

Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the steel industry or closely related fields
  • Strong understanding of steel material costs, procurement processes, and contract management
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills

Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
