Key Responsibilities
  1. Cost Control: Manage project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost control mechanisms to ensure financial success.
  2. Feasibility Studies: Conduct cost analysis, project valuations, and feasibility studies for steel structures and related materials.
  3. Procurement: Oversee the procurement process, negotiate contracts, and manage subcontractor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  4. Site Monitoring: Conduct regular site visits to verify project scope, assess costs, and ensure financial alignment with project goals.
  5. Risk Management: Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers to optimize cost management and enhance value delivery.
Ideal Candidate
  1. Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the steel industry or closely related fields.
  2. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of steel material costs, procurement processes, and contract management principles.
  3. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a relevant field.
  4. Skillset: Advanced analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication abilities, with a results-oriented approach.
  6. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in cost management software, MS Excel, and industry-standard tools.
