Learning Disability Support Worker Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our Award-Winning team at SweetTree Home Care Services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care to individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £13.20-£15.35 per hour, with an additional £17.50 per hour for shifts between 7am-9am Mondays to Fridays. In addition to this, you will have access to a contributory pension scheme, 28 days of paid holiday, and various other benefits including flexible working hours, continuous training, and professional development opportunities.
About the PositionThis is a unique opportunity to work with a friendly, energetic young person who requires one-on-one support in their home environment. You will be responsible for cultivating a positive and supportive environment that promotes independence and well-being, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 months experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism, and will be comfortable managing challenging behaviours. A commitment to making a difference in people's lives is essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
