Netball Development Officer

Rugby School seeks an experienced Netball Development Officer to lead the netball department on a fixed-term basis.
With over 250 girls participating in netball each year, Netball is the most popular female sport at Rugby School. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the Netball strategy in conjunction with the Director of Sport, ensuring participation rates are maintained, and the netball profile is enhanced through inter-school fixtures, county, regional, and national competitions.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 2 qualification in sports coaching and experience working with young athletes in a netball coaching environment. Weekly hours may vary depending on the fixture calendar.
The role is for 33 hours per week, 35 weeks of the year (term time plus). The successful candidate will work in a highly experienced department, with regular training in sports coaching, match analysis, research, and guiding aspiring athletes into professional sports.
The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
