About Rugby School

We are a leading independent school with a strong focus on sports development. Our netball teams have achieved significant success, with over 250 girls participating in the sport each year.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will lead the development of netball at Rugby School, working closely with the Director of Sport to create and implement a strategy for the sport.

This role involves:

  • Developing and implementing a netball strategy for the school
  • Working with all age groups to maintain participation rates and enhance the netball profile
  • Coordinating inter-school fixtures, county, regional, and national competitions

The ideal candidate will have a minimum level 2 qualification in sports coaching and experience working with young athletes in a netball coaching environment.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and delivering coaching sessions for netball players
  • Assessing and providing feedback to players
  • Maintaining accurate records of player progress and team performance

The role requires a high level of organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum level 2 qualification in sports coaching
  • Experience working with young athletes in a netball coaching environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
